In Saporischschja wurde das regionale Heimatmuseum durch einen russischen Raketenangriff beschädigt
Nach Angaben des Direktors der Einrichtung blieben alle Exponate unversehrt, es gab keine Verletzten. Im Inneren des Gebäudes wurden allerdings Fensterscheiben zu Bruch gegangen – sowohl in der Haupthalle als auch in den Lagerräumen.
Die Sicherung der Exponate erfolgte durch Schutzverpackungen und spezielle Schutzschränke, in denen die Objekte in den Sammlungen aufbewahrt wurden.
