The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reacted to the arrival of African diplomats to the Donetsk region
The Ukrainian diplomatic service on Facebook strongly condemned the visit of African diplomats to the temporarily occupied part of the Donetsk region: "The statements made by them during this visit about opposing colonialism on Ukrainian land, which is illegally seized by Russia in the course of the neocolonial war of aggression against Ukraine, are completely absurd."
In this regard, the Foreign Ministry demands that the leadership of the African Union and the Pan-African Parliament strongly condemn this visit and further avoid any contacts with representatives of the Russian occupation administration in the Donetsk region of Ukraine.
The Ministry writes that among those who visited these territories are representatives of Ethiopia, Tanzania, Malawi, Uganda, South Sudan, Comoros, Equatorial Guinea, Djibouti, Eswatini, Zambia, Somalia and Mozambique.

12 European countries will restrain Russia's shadow fleet
Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Sweden and the United Kingdom during the JEF leaders' summit in Tallinn agreed on measures to stop the activity and deter the vessels of the Russian "shadow fleet": "Russia uses its "shadow fleet" to circumvent sanctions and mitigate their influence on Russia. Twelve countries agreed to stop the "shadow fleet" of Russia in order to prevent illegal operations and increase Russia's spending on the war against Ukraine," reads a statement on the website of the Estonian government.
For example, the maritime authorities of the UK, Denmark, Sweden, Poland, Finland and Estonia will require appropriate proof of insurance from suspected shadow vessels passing through the English Channel, the Danish Great Belt Straits, the Øresund Strait between Denmark and Sweden, and the Gulf of Finland.
The received information and data on vessels that refuse to respond to requests will be jointly analyzed and used for further action.

Sky defenders neutralized 20 enemy UAVs
The Air Force also reports 10 drones lost in location that did not reach their targets.
In total, the enemy launched 31 "Shahed" and other types of drones over Ukraine this night, starting at 23:00 on December 16.
Air targets were shot down in Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Zhytomyr and Cherkasy regions.
1 UAV is still in the air of Ukraine.
