IDF Spokesperson:
An Air Force aircraft recently attacked, in a targeted manner and with intelligence guidance from the Military Intelligence Service, the Shin Bet and the Southern Command, a terrorist from the Hamas terrorist organization who was operating in the humanitarian space in Khan Yunis.
Prior to the attack, many steps were taken to reduce the chance of harming civilians, including aerial observation, intelligence gathering and the use of precision weapons.
The Hamas terrorist organization systematically violates international law, while cruelly exploiting the population and the humanitarian space as a shield for terrorist operations. The IDF will continue to act forcefully and decisively against all terrorist organizations in close proximity to civilian and public institutions.
