26-year-old volunteer from Scotland, Jordan McLachlan, served as a medic on the front lines. He joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine after the start of the full-scale Russian invasion in 2022.
The Scottish volunteer died on Friday, January 3, 2025, in battle with Russian occupiers.

Last night, 78 enemy UAVs were shot down over Ukraine
On the night of January 13, the enemy attacked Ukraine with 110 Shahed attack UAVs and simulator drones.
As of 09:00, it was confirmed that 78 attack UAVs had been shot down. 31 enemy simulator drones were lost in the field.
Due to the fall of the shot down enemy drones in the Sumy, Kyiv, Zhytomyr and Zaporizhia regions, there is destruction, preliminary, without victims or injuries.
