Ruslan Hanushchak is known by the call sign "Ostap". He began his career as a military cameraman in 2014, as a fighter of the Azov battalion. He became one of the documentarians of the war in Donbas, recording the crimes of the Russian military in Shyrokyne, Granitne, Berdyansk, Lebedynsk and Maryinka.
In 2016, Ruslan made a documentary about the war in Donbas "Two Days in Ilovaisk" - about how the Ilovaisk Cauldron began.
