A 19-year-old Polish citizen, Filip Antosiak, was killed near Pokrovskoye. After completing his studies at Cambridge, he told his parents that he was planning a career in the British army, but then admitted that he had gone to Ukraine. Antosiak fought as part of a strike drone unit in the 25th Airborne Brigade.
On January 30, Filip Antosiak was given a state farewell at the Golden-Domed St. Michael's Cathedral in Kyiv, from where the procession descended to Maidan Nezalezhnosti. The ceremony included the playing of the anthems of Ukraine and Poland, and the coffin was draped in the flags of both countries. The young man's parents came to the farewell, as did representatives of the Polish Consulate and various Polish organizations in Ukraine. The parents were presented with a posthumous award for Filip from the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Filip will be buried in the city of Łowicz, Łódź Voivodeship.

На прощання приїхали батьки юнака, були присутні також представники польського консульства та різних польських організацій в Україні. Батькам передали посмертну нагороду для Філіпа від головнокомандувача ЗСУ.
Поховають Філіпа у місті Лович Лодзького воєводства.

Après avoir terminé ses études à Cambridge, il a dit à ses parents qu'il prévoyait une carrière dans l'armée britannique, mais a ensuite admis qu'il était parti en Ukraine. Antosiak a combattu au sein d'une unité de drones d'attaque au sein de la 25e brigade aéroportée.
Le 30 janvier, Filip Antosiak a été salué avec les honneurs à la cathédrale Saint-Michel-au-Dôme-d'Or de Kiev, d'où le cortège est descendu jusqu'à la place de l'Indépendance. Der 19-jährige polnische Staatsbürger Filip Antosiak starb in der Nähe von Pokrovskoe. Nach Abschluss seines Studiums in Cambridge erzählte er seinen Eltern, dass er eine Karriere in der britischen Armee plane, gab dann aber zu, dass er in die Ukraine gegangen sei. Antosiak kämpfte als Teil einer Angriffsdrohneneinheit in der 25. Luftlandebrigade.
Am 30. Januar wurde Filip Antosiak in der St.-Michaels-Kathedrale mit den goldenen Kuppeln in Kiew mit allen Ehren verabschiedet, von wo aus die Prozession zum Unabhängigkeitsplatz hinunterzog. Bei der Zeremonie wurden abwechselnd die Hymnen der Ukraine und Polens gespielt und der Sarg mit den Flaggen beider Länder bedeckt. Die Eltern des jungen Mannes kamen, um sich zu verabschieden, ebenso wie Vertreter des polnischen Konsulats und verschiedener polnischer Organisationen in der Ukraine. Den Eltern wurde vom Oberbefehlshaber der Streitkräfte der Ukraine eine posthume Auszeichnung für Philip überreicht.
Philip wird in der Stadt Łowicz in der Woiwodschaft Łódź begraben.

Tijdens de ceremonie werden afwisselend de volksliederen van Oekraïne en Polen gespeeld en de kist werd bedekt met de vlaggen van beide landen.
