SBU exposed Ukrainian companies that supplied microchips for Russian missiles and drones to the Russian Federation
The Security Service of Ukraine exposed enterprises in the Kharkiv, Chernivtsi and Odessa regions. The perpetrators developed a plan for the systematic supply of electronic components from Ukraine to the Russian Federation, bypassing sanctions.
It is documented that during the summer of 2022 alone, the participants in the scheme transported to Russia more than 1.5 thousand items of microelectronics for a total amount of more than 600 thousand US dollars.
The facts of the use of Ukrainian microchips and circuit boards by the Russians were confirmed by the conclusions of expert examinations conducted on the basis of studying the fragments of Russian missiles and drones.
During searches of company officials, material evidence of their work in the interests of the Kremlin was found. The perpetrators face up to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property, - the SBU.
