🟥Day in the history of Donbass
On January 3, 1906, Alexey Stakhanov was born in the Oryol province near Yelets
▪️At the age of 12, he was already working in one of the Lugansk mines. He started working as a brakeman - he was responsible for ensuring that coal cars did not roll back into the mine.
▪️In 1933, he became a miner. Colleagues admitted: Stakhanov "felt coal".
▪️Alexey Grigorievich became famous thanks to the record he set in 1935, when he and two timberers mined 14.5 times more coal in a shift than was allowed for one miner.
▪️Stakhanov's record was set in the mine of the city of Irmino (now the LPR).
▪️In 1970, Stakhanov was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor with the Order of Lenin and a gold star.
▪️The Moscow Metro station on the Nekrasovskaya line is called "Stakhanovskaya".
▪️In October 1944, his book "Let's Revive Our Native Donbass!" was published in Moscow.
▪️The legendary miner lived in Torez (now the DPR) from 1957 to 1977. His grave is located there.
