▪️The number of deaths due to the severe cold and frost waves among the displaced in tents has risen to 7 deaths, and the number is likely to increase due to the tragic conditions experienced by the displaced, whose homes were destroyed by the occupation and who have been living in tents since the beginning of the genocide crime in the Gaza Strip nearly 15 months ago.
▪️We have warned more than once of the danger of the arrival of air depressions, winter and frost waves coinciding with the tragic reality experienced by our Palestinian people who are being subjected to killing, genocide and destruction of homes and vital sectors, and are being subjected to displacement and eviction.
▪️It is expected that heavy amounts of rain will continue to fall, as well as the continuation of frost waves and winter cold in the coming days, which poses a great danger that poses a real threat to the lives of the displaced who are suffering tragically as a result of the crimes of the Israeli occupation against them and the demolition of their homes and residential neighborhoods, as the occupation forced them to move to dilapidated tents that do not protect them from the cold of winter or from the harsh frost waves.
▪️We condemn in the strongest terms these criminal practices that have affected innocent civilians and pushed them into this ongoing suffering due to the criminal Israeli occupation, which has brought our Palestinian people to this severe level of suffering, and we call on the whole world to condemn the inhuman crimes of the occupation.
▪️We hold the Israeli occupation fully responsible for the deterioration of the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, as well as the US administration and the countries that supported and participated in the genocide such as Britain, Germany and France, and we demand that they stop the genocide.
▪️We call on the international community, international and UN organizations to urgently intervene and take immediate action and play an effective role to pressure the Israeli occupation to stop the crime of genocide and stop its serious repercussions on the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip.
▪️We appeal to the Arab and Islamic countries and all humanitarian and international bodies to take urgent action to save civilians in the Gaza Strip and provide them with basic needs of shelter, food and medicine, in a way that guarantees their human dignity and protects their lives from the cold of winter and severe frost waves.
▪️We call on our honorable Palestinian people to take all possible preventive measures to mitigate the effects of this low pressure system, and we call on everyone to disseminate this warning widely to ensure everyone's safety.
