▪️In light of the continued and worsening suffering and humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip, and despite the clear agreements stipulated in the humanitarian protocol signed within the ceasefire agreement, the Israeli occupation has not adhered to its pledges and has not implemented the provisions it signed, as it continues to procrastinate and obstruct the entry of humanitarian, relief and shelter aid that our Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip need urgently.
▪️According to the humanitarian protocol, 60,000 caravans and 200,000 temporary tents were supposed to be brought into the Gaza Strip to accommodate the displaced people of our honorable Palestinian people whose homes, housing units and residential neighborhoods were destroyed by the Israeli occupation. It was also supposed to bring in 600 trucks loaded with aid and fuel daily, including 50 fuel and gas trucks, and 4,200 trucks within 7 days, in addition to bringing in humanitarian, medical and health services equipment and civil defense, removing rubble, maintaining infrastructure, operating the power plant and the equipment necessary to rehabilitate humanitarian services in the Gaza Strip.
▪️However, the Israeli occupation is putting obstacles and procrastinating in implementation, which exacerbates the humanitarian crisis and doubles the suffering of the civilian population in the Gaza Strip, and this will have serious and unprecedented repercussions and effects.
▪️We hold the Israeli occupation and the US administration fully responsible for the serious repercussions resulting from the occupation’s failure to abide by its pledges, and we call on the guarantor parties and international parties to assume their responsibilities effectively and strongly and to exert serious pressure to ensure the immediate implementation of the provisions of the humanitarian protocol, without restrictions or conditions, in accordance with what was agreed upon.
