IDF Spokesperson:
An Air Force aircraft recently attacked, in a targeted manner and with intelligence guidance from the Military Intelligence and Southern Command, a terrorist from the Hamas terrorist organization who was in the Al-Furqan area in Gaza City.
Prior to the attack, many steps were taken to reduce the chance of harming civilians, including the use of precision weapons, aerial observations, and additional intelligence information.
The IDF will continue to act forcefully and decisively against the terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip.

IDF Spokesperson:
Earlier today (Wednesday), several gatherings were identified in the area in southern Syria, approaching IDF forces operating in the area. After calling on the demonstrators to move away, the forces responded by firing to disperse them.
The claim of casualties in the area is being examined.
